The definition of critical thinking is to be able to analyze the problem in a different and effective way. Scientists identify critical thinking as the ability of thinking “outside” the box and unlimited thinking with a higher level. Also critical thinkers are considered to have various types of talents ranging from evaluating, analyzing, and synthesizing to forming opinions. Thinking is sorted in 6 levels depending on the easiest way to the complicated. Knowledge which is naming and identifying is the basic method. Next comes comprehension that is the understanding and after that the application which is using knowledge and comprehension to solve problems. Later, come analysis to examine and taking apart to understand. After that, comes synthesis which is recreating and putting back together in a different way. Finally, evaluation came which is the highest level of thinking that is rating and drawing conclusion.
People might ask why critical thinking is important and what seems to be so special about it? Critical thinking is very important since it can affect our daily lives and can also affect on how we socialize with people. It can also help make more new and modern technological advances.
Critical thinkers have some skills such as; listening carefully to what others is saying, looking for evidence to support their assumptions and curious in knowing all there is about a topic.
